Kudos to the person that designed this saw. They knew that someday the GK team was coming and designed this tool with the P80 Kit in mind. Once you look past the “does-it-all” marketing claims, it’s actually a good piece of kit.
The quad saw/driver is versatile and innovative. Perfect for the professional to the casual tool user. The set includes 3 reciprocating saw blades, drywall, metal/PVC, wood, 4″ magnetic speed lock bit holder, 7 popular hex bits. It comes with a ballistic fabric holster that stores all blades, screwdriver bits and handle for ease of use.
We love the versatility of this tool. In a P80 kit, you may be tempted to buy a bunch of do everything tools to save space or get more optionality. We’ve been down that road and tried most of those tools to save you the time. We recommend very few.
So why this one? Three main reasons: 1. Hacksaws are too bulky and this is an adequate replacement. 2. The handle pivots which allows access in narrow spaces and/or the application of torque when turning. 3. With a hex bit holder option, you now have a viable right angle tool for more than just sawing.
This tool is recommended for both the premium and economy versions of the P80 kit and the best news is that it is under $20!
