Really, how can you go wrong? With a 4:1 ratio gear and a 1/4″ bit compatibility, this screwdriver is at the top of the pack. At ~$35, it knows it is at the top of the pack. The creative marketing description (and cost) aside, we like the comfortable handle, smooth gearing (lovely precision ratchet clicking sound) and general build quality of this tool. It is a great piece of kit and fits nicely into the premium version of your P80 kit.
Stanley FMHT 69236 Hi-Speed Ratcheting Screwdriver
Another 4:1 ratio Hi-Speed Ratcheting Screwdriver, but in a more affordable package. Like the SpecTools model, it goes both ways. The handle is built for comfort and while not as ergonomic as other models, it feels fine in practice for small to medium sized projects. The handle holds 12 bits and is backed by Stanley’s Limited Lifetime warranty. So you read the review above and said, “35 bucks for a screwdriver?!?”. The good news is this one is under $20 and is recommended as our ratcheting screwdriver in the economy P80 kit.
