As with many things in life, less is more. The C. H. Hanson’s Magnetic Stud Finder is the epitome simple solutions that outperform much more sophisticated pieces of kit. This unit is compact, powerful, and doesn’t require batteries or calibration. The manufacturer claims this is the last stud finder you will ever buy. I completely agree and I have made it an essential item in my P80 kit.
The Magnetic Stud Finder uses “neodymium” rare earth magnets to locate nails or screws in a stud. Simply sweep the tool over a wall or ceiling and the powerful magnets will snap to a fastener, leaving your hands free and eliminating the need to use a pencil to mark the stud.
